Munting Buhangin Beach Camp

Beach Area shared by Munting Buhangin Camp and its neighbouring Club

Aircon Nipa Hut
Munting Buhangin Beach Camp is located in Nasugbu, Batangas. It is strategically located beside Punto Fuego Beach Club. I spent 2 days there enjoying the beach, but that's all. The cove is rather small and there is only one restaurant with limited dishes to offer. But for those who would come to camp, I guess they will enjoy the site except for some facilities, like good restroom and shower room.

The sea water is not that clear; it's rather turbid though. This is probably due to the pollution brought by the increasing number of industries in that area. The sand is fine and beige.

They have three rooms to offer for those who will stay overnight: tree house, cottage and nipa hut. I stayed in a nipa hut which is good for 4 persons. The nipa hut is aircon, however, it doesn't have its own restroom. The one who stays in the nipa huts and tree houses should use the common bathroom which is not that clean and private.

How to Get there:

You need to board a bus located near the MRT Taft Station. It will take you to Nasugbu Batangas. At the bus terminal in Nasugbu, you need to take a tricyle going to the camp. You can always ask assistance from the local people. They are very friendly. This is rather exciting because the road is rather steep, but paved. The view is awesome. It was summer when I went there and the hills looked like autumn in the temperate countries with all the different shades of brown, yellow and green. The tricycle ride costs P250. It looks expensive, but when you realise the agony that every tricyle drivers go through, you will agree with the price.
